Our Active School Committee is made up of students from each class in our school. The committee meet regularly to create new initiatives and discuss the best ways of making our school more active.
The main objectives of our Active School Committee are to ensure all pupils in Rathcormac N.S. are more active during and after school. We can achieve this by playing on yard during break times, taking activity breaks each day and getting involved in clubs after school.
The committee has a number of roles which include meeting regularly, creating different initiatives, maintaining and recording PE/sport equipment, making announcements and presenting to classes, taking on the role as playground leaders and planning, organising and running Active School Week.
