3rd-6th classes were treated to a visit from children’s author Brian Gallagher today.
This event,organised in conjunction with Sligo Library was made possible due to our pupils’ exceptional participation in the Summer Stars reading initiative which the library organises each year.
The author spoke of the processes involved in writing and publishing a book and answered questions.
He also read from one of his books.

Hopefully this visit will inspire the pupils to write their own stories.
