Bhí ár gcéad Cháife Gaeilge ar siúl i halla na scoile le déanaí mar chuid de Sheachtain na Gaeilge. Bhí lá an-deas againn ag labhairt Gaeilge agus ag baint taitnimh as an ócáid le chéile.
To celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge, we held our first Cáife Gaeilge in the school hall. Pupils and staff came together to enjoy hot chocolate, tea and some treats while using their Gaeilge.
It was a lovely opportunity for everyone to practise a few words and phrases in Irish in a relaxed and friendly way. The pupils showed great enthusiasm and confidence when speaking Irish.
A big thank you to Mr Kelly and Mr Lally for organising the event. Thank you to our three TY students Brandon,Hope and Ben who were an incredible help in the kitchen preparing the hot drinks. It was a very enjoyable occasion and we hope to hold another Cáife Gaeilge again in the future.
