The 2025 Connacht Primary Schools Finals were held in Loughrea on Saturday 18/10/2025.
Rathcormac NS had three teams competing on the day: Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys.
First up were the Junior Boys who tackled the course of 1000 m. Every boy ran so well and they should be very proud of their efforts.
Next up we had the Senior Girls race and once more the pupils of our school ran brilliantly showing real grit and determination.
Finally, the Senior Boys began and like the racers before them they acquitted themselves so well. All the boys finished strongly which is testament to their effort and determination. We were also short two athletes who unfortunately couldn't make it on the day due to injury. We thank them for their training and efforts to qualify for the event.
A big thank you goes to the parents who got up early on a Saturday morning and made the journey to Galway.
Most of all a massive thank you to each and every runner who represented our school so well in what was a highly competitive field.
We are very proud of you all.
