3rd class have been studying from Celtic to Christian Ireland in history. They learned about monasteries, monks, the Book of Kells monastic communities, round towers, cells and other interesting facts from that era. The class are now constructing monasteries using recycled materials. The children are really enjoying working in groups, cutting, sticking, painting and putting their structures together. We are really loking forward to the finished products.
