Our girls travelled to Cuilbeg to play Carraroe NS in the quarter final of the cup. It was a very close match and the sides were level on four occasions. With time running out we trailed by a point, but a quick break from back led to the equalising score. As the match headed towards the final whistle and extra time seemed inevitable, the girls managed one final push to win the match with virtually the last kick of the game.
It was hard luck on our hosts, as they too gave their all and the game could have gone either way, but thankfully, it is our girls who go through to play Scoil Ursula in the semi-final next week.
