Mrs Connell and our wonderful Student Council organised an Easter Handwriting Competition for the whole school once again this year.
We have introduced cursive writing throughout the school in the past two years and this competition gives the children the opportunity to showcase their work and the efforts that they are making to improve their handwriting.
The Student Council judged the handwriting and it was a very difficult job! There was a lot of debate as they looked at each entry in detail!! They chose the best two pieces of handwriting from each class. The twenty lucky winners were all presented with their certificates and an Easter egg at the Easter assembly on Friday 31st March. The list of winners is displayed around the school. All the winning entries can be viewed on the Student Council Noticeboard.
Thank you to the teachers who support the children as they strive to master their handwriting. Thank you to the Student Council who judged the competition. Well done to all our winners this year. Enjoy your Easter Eggs.!!
