Today, we celebrated St. Colmcille, one of Ireland’s most famous saints and scholars and of course our schools patron Saint. Pupils learned about his life, his love of learning and his important role in spreading Christianity throughout Ireland. Through stories, discussion and classroom activities, the children gained a greater appreciation of St. Colmcille’s legacy and his lasting influence on Irish history and culture. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on an important figure from our heritage. 🍀📖⛪
