Members of the Green Schools committee,( 4 permitted from each school) Catriona and Mr.Brennan travelled to the Mc William Park Hotel in Claremorris today for the Green Flag Awards ceremony.
Schools from over Sligo, Mayo and Leitrim were awarded flags for their work and efforts across all areas of the Green School programme.
We were presented with our flag for biodiversity.
Members of An Taisce spoke very appreciatively of the work that schools do in promoting the themes.
We look forward to working on our next theme in September.
Special thanks to Mr Brennan ,Catriona and all the Green Schools Committee members for their hardwork and efforts in achieving this latest flag.
Great praise also goes to all the pupils and staff in our school- it is a collective effort as we all look to preserve and replenish our environment.
