Every year Rathcormac NS hosts a Hospice Coffee Morning. Funds raised help Sligo Hospice support those who need it. The children and parents supply a selection of home-made goodies, treats, buns, apple tarts, cakes and scones. There was a huge array of food this year-many thanks to all those who baked and supplied these. All children visited the hall and enjoyed some delicious treats and juice. Many thanks to our 6th class who helped to set up tables and distribute food and drinks. Parents, grandparents and members of our local community called for a cuppa and a chat from 1 to 2.30pm. They were greeted by members of our student council and catered for by our diligent 6th class. A huge thank you to Catriona, Sean and Mrs Power for their contribution to this wonderful event and to all staff for their support.
So far, we have raised a total of €1.616. The on-line link will be left open until after the mid-term break for any parent who has not had to chance to donate.
