In 2nd/3rd class, we have been busy planting. We have been taking part in Agri Aware's Incredible Edibles Programme.
We have planted a variety of seeds, including spinach, carrots, turnip, chives and lettuce. The children have been learning about the origin of various foods, the elements needed for growing and biodiversity.
Over the last few weeks we have been ensuring our seeds have everything they need to grow.
We are looking forward to watching our vegetables to continue to grow over the coming weeks.
