International Women’s Day is an annual event which is celebrated worldwide on the 8th of March.
On this day we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women from around the world.
For International Women’s Day this year, 5th Class researched five influential women, completed a project based on their lives and presented the projects to the class.
The inspirational women researched by 5th class were:
-Malala Yousafzai
-Mother Teresa
-Anne Frank
-Mary McAleese
-Greta Thunberg.
