Last Friday, Martina Butler, from the Heritage in Schools Programme, visited our school and talked to the senior classes in connection with Science week. Her talk was called Junior Citizen Scientist workshop, where she spoke to children about their role in protecting our environment. It was most interesting and informative. Afterwards, some children enjoyed a bug hunt. All creatures were returned to their natural environment.
