3rd class are currently learning about measuring and estimating. They had measured a number of items in their classroom using measuring tapes. Today they measured distances ourside their classroom using trundle wheels. They first had to estimate these distances using strides which was quite manageable. They then used the wheels which was more challenging than they had expected. For most children it was their first time to use this equipment so it was quite exciting. Many children were delighted with their accurate estimates. They are looking forward to more of this tomorrow
