A big thank you to our wonderful Parents Association for all their help and support today Tuesday the 17th February. Pancake Tuesday is a highlight in our school calendar as each class gets the opportunity to celebrate together in the hall. For our Junior Infants it was a new experience and they couldn’t believe their eyes. The tables were laden down with pancakes of all sizes and the children got to choose their favourite toppings. The whipped cream,chocolate buttons and marshmallows were very popular along with the strawberries 🍓,blueberries, raspberries and bananas to name but a few!( All toppings were nut free in line with our nut free policy. )
Thank you to all the parents and children for their generous donations today.The children were asked to bring in €2 each and the senior classes were given the opportunity to vote on a charity of their choice so this year all funds raised will go to Sligo Social Services We have collected €418 to date. We hope the children enjoyed their pancakes 🥞 and have happy memories of this special day. Well done to all involved.
