Each year, we are fortunate to receive fantastic support from our local Tidy Towns committee. Once again, they sponsored the prizes in our annual Recycled Christmas Tree competition. Mr Brennan and our Green Schools committee had the difficult task of choosing one winner per class, and the prize winners were announced at the Christmas assembly. The beautiful Christmas tree in the hall donated by Liam Feeney (Feeney's Garden Centre), was fully decorated with the children's handmade decorations and was admired by many at the events in the hall throughout Christmas week. Congratulations to the winners and all who took part in this competition. Beautiful objects can be made from recycled materials-well done, everyone.
