We were thrilled to take part in the Say Yes To Languages program for the first time this year. We chose Spanish 🇪🇸 and were extremely fortunate to have Carmen delivering the 10 week program to our students in 3rd ,4th ,5th and 6th classes.
The children all enjoyed the interactive lessons and each week built on the vocabulary previously covered. Carmen taught the children greetings in Spanish ,basic phrases, vocabulary for numbers and colours, hobbies and pastimes to name but a few.
The children loved the bingo and they made a Spanish passport. They learned all about traditional food in Spain and looked up recipes for Tapas.
It was a wonderful experience and we would like to thank Carmen for her great lessons each week. We hope some of our children get the chance to put their Spanish into practice on holidays this Summer.
