5th Class came together and carried out an exciting science experiment this week to explore how gas can be created during a chemical reaction. Using vinegar, bread soda, food colouring and a balloon, they worked together to mix the ingredients and observe the reaction.
As soon as the bread soda fell into the vinegar, the mixture began to fizz and bubble, filling the balloon with carbon dioxide.
The class had great fun watching the balloon inflate and seeing the results of their experiment in action!
