Today we welcomed Peter and Nathan from Wonderstruck to our class for their amazing Fan Powered Cars workshop.
Students worked in groups of three to design and build their custom made cars. During the workshop we examined STEM topics Forces, Aerodynamics and Friction as well as developing holistic skills such as team work, communication and investigation.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and had great fun engineering, testing and racing their models. Thank you to Wonderstuck for providing a ‘Wonderful Workshop and to Mr Brennan for organising the event as part of Science Week. We hope to welcome Wonderstruck back to Rathcormac N.S. in the future.
