The children in 3rd class have been enjoying some sewing recently. They learned new skills from threading a needle, to tying a knot and doing some simple stitches on a piece of felt. They then progressed to tacking and sewing 2 pieces of fabric which will form miniature Christmas Stockings. It has been an enjoyable experience. I would like to thank Moninne, our TY student and past pupil Aoife, along with some 6th class helpers.
