Past pupil of the school Cian Lally, along with Liam Óg Gormley from Sligo GAA paid the school a visit to show the Division 4 National League cup which Sligo won recently.
They gave a talk to classes and had question and answer sessions with the pupils. Cian spoke to pupils about the benefits of sport to us all. It was super to see a former pupil and member of Drumcliff Rosses Point GAA club here in our school to inspire the future players.
We wished Cian and teammates well for their Connacht semi final on Saturday against New York. This game is in Markievicz Park and Cian would love lots of support from his former school community!
