Soup Making in 6th Class

On Thursday 11th January the students in 6th class made a delicious pot of vegetable soup in our school kitchen. In class pupils had been learning about procedure writing and this was the perfect time to put our theory into practice. 

The children began by chopping up some vegetables such as leek, carrots, celery, potatoes and many more. We boiled our soup in two large pots and cooked over a medium to high heat for roughly 25 minutes. The soup was delicious and it was a real treat on a cold winters day.
