4th class had a very special visitor as we began celebrating 50 years of our school.
Former principal Michael Mc Tighe who was the principal 50 years ago came in to speak to the children about our school’s origins.
He explained that initially there was no electricity,running water or even indoor toilets.! The children were fascinated by all the stories and memories.
They asked very good questions deepening their knowledge of our school’s origins.
Michael concluded by playing and singing a wonderful song for us.
