4th class began using LEGO Spike kits today. These kits are wonderful and the broad range of engineering skills that they develop and promote is impressive.
Each group comprises of three members and each pupil is assigned a specific role:
- Supplier
- Engineer
- Builder.
This allows for each member of the team to work to an assigned role and to work cooperatively with their peers.
Today the pupils worked on various projects and when completed they used the iPads to code their machines/projects to perform tasks.
We will work on new projects tomorrow and we look forward to seeing other classes experience the process too.
