Sunny Experiments in 3rd Class
24th Nov 2025
Today 3rd class made the most of the lovely sunny day to conduct some fun experiments. The children managed to split the light of the sun using water and mirrors and prisms to produce small rainbows. It took a number of attempts to get the angle right to produce the desired effect. The children later learned that using a CD was a much easier option. They also attempted to make up a new mnemonic to remember the colours of the rainbow in order. They concluded that the old one 'Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain' was a good option!
