Just before Easter, we were delighted to support an appeal from members of our local GAA club Drumcliff/RossesPoint. The girls were part of a group of students, teachers and parents from Mercy College Sligo who were travelling to Kenya to work on and support the Tumu Tumu Primary School and the Kisiju project. They left for Kenya last Friday the 22nd March 2024.
The group wanted to bring some sports jerseys and shorts to the children living in Kenya. The children living in this area of Kenya have very little. These gifts from Sligo have brought lots of happiness to the children in the school. We were delighted to receive these photos from Kenya and it's great to see all the DRP, Cul Camp and Yeats Jerseys!
