Recently, the Minister for Education, Norma Foley, launched a competition to encourage students to reflect on the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement by submitting artwork, poetry or visual works, exploring the theme of ‘The Gift of Peace and the responsibility that comes with it.’
Pupils in 5th class have submitted wonderful art and poetry work to the Department of Education, highlighting their interpretation of how important the Good Friday Agreement was in bringing peace and prosperity to all.
