To celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge, 3rd and 5th class took part in a table quiz 'as Gaeilge'. During the week, they learned some useful phrases and vocabulary. In teams of 4, they answered questions covering a wide range of topics from geography and history to general knowledge and music. Two teams tied with 31 points so a tie breaker round was introduced. This resulted in a draw as did a number of other tie breakers and excitement was rising. Finally, the children decided to take their lunch break and continue afterwards. This saw the two teams draw again a number of times before there was an overall winning team. All the children enjoyed a small treat for their efforts.
